Attention: Southeast Iowans!....if you relish American history and want to help preserve it....please join us!  Our message is an important one.  Become a docent (tour guide)!

Our volunteer docents greet visitors young and old from all walks of life, every state and many foreign countries.  School tours are very special!   And, beyond our tours, we rely on volunteers to help keep this historic home and the grounds standing tall and beautiful!

Please check out our Mission Statement and the Tour Experience on this website.  We train you patiently in the seven points of interest.  The public speaking to all this becomes like speaking to a friend or neighbor.  It just seems to happen that way!
